Anyone recommend a good free web host?

Hi every1

I am looking for a free web host that allows file downloads as i am writing an application that i would like to share when it is completed.

Most dont seem to allow this.

Id rather have my own site rather than go somewhere like sourceforge.

Is that all you need to do is to be able for others to download files?

No server side language? FTP?

Have a look here. I have used i6Networks for such things and they haven't given me any hassle.

no just some basic HTML pages and zip/tar file download.
