I thought I'd try another network install, so I booted with the parameter askmethod. After typing into Anaconda the name of a ftp server, running diskdruid and formatting the hard drive, it crashed (with a python exception).It did this with a different server as well. So I thought I'd try a http server instead, but the .xml file was not found. And to top it off I have not been able to find more than a few servers (ftp or http) for core 5, anyway, more for older versions, though. So, first problem to see if it will work with http, does anyone have a list of these servers?

You can install from any mirror server, but you need to specify the path correctly for Anaconda to pick up the XML files that needs.

Mirror list:

http://fedora.redhat.com/Download/mirrors.html

For Anaconda you need to add /5/<architecture>/os/ to the path on that list, e.g. server: www.mirror.ac.uk, path: /sites/fedora.redhat.com/5/i386/os/.
