I am running a 2.6 Ghz Intel P4 on an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe board with 512 megs RAM, a Seagate SATA HDD, Maxtor EIDE, and the rest isn't that important for now.
I have been trying to install Fedora Core 2 on my system. Currently I am running Fedora Core 1 and have been loving it. At any rate, I found there is a bug with Fedora Core 2 install on the P4P800
See Here . This bug causes a loop of rebooting while attempting to install.
Someone in the string of comments has come up with a way to work around it that involves modifying the diskboot.img file of the first install disk of FC2. I have however do not know how to create a bootable CD-ROM that will allow me to use the modified install CD.
Another issue is that I have to use a windows box to actually do the burning. Help on how to make an ISO image would be wonderful.
Thanks in advance.
