Exclamation How to install wireless and audio drivers?

Hi,

This is Vivek. I am using Dell Inspiron 1505 laptop. Before I used to have XP OS in my system. Because I had to use LINUX OS for running few programs I installed Linux(fedora core 4.0 version) in D drive of my laptop. I have no problem in using Linux. But what matters is I couldnt connect to wireless net and cant play songs in my computer when working in LINUX OS. Can you explain clearly how can I make it work for wireless and be able to play songs? I know I need to install audio drivers for playing songs, but I dont have any idea about wireless. Where can I get audio drivers?
Please let me know if you want any information from my side. My laptop is dell inspiron E 1505.

Thanking you,
Vivek Nagubadi.

Need much more information. On the wireless front, what is the wireless card you have? Same on the audio (except I can help more on it).

To find out what you have in Linux, type 'lspci'. Also, for Audio, type 'lspci -s 0:1b -vn' and 'cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#'. One thing that should be noted is that FC4 may not have all the support you need. You should upgrade to a later version of Linux, and (more than likely) will need a different distribution to get wireless working, as Fedora Core doesn't support the wireless network cards that require firmware.
