Hey, help out a newbie!

Hey,
I just downloaded FC1 from LinuxISO.org and I burnt all the crap onto a CD(3 actually)
When I put in the CD and boot up... it juse goes to my regular Linux kernal...
Is there some voodoo magic I can put on these disks that they will run adn install FC1?
THX

You're running which distro now?

You checked the iso md5sum and it was good?

You properly created a bootable CD?

You have your BIOS set to boot from the CD-ROM first?

Uh-oh - I'm having to ask questions of you...

Maybe you should slow down and read the info in the
link in my sig below...

I am running RedHat 7.3
How do I check the iso md5sum?
How do I create a bootable CD, I thought it automaticly did that...
How do I make the BIOS boot from the CD.....I did before when I installed RH7.3

Go back to LinuxISO.org and on the left-hand side
of their page they have links to those answers...

Ooppss - who is the manufacturer of your mobo?

When you're booting you should try hitting Delete. Maybe on
the post screen it says something like "Hit Del to enter Setup"
and then once you're in the BIOS choose the boot menu and
change it from your hard drive to CD.

If you have an Asus mobo (the absolute best!) then you can
press Esc after the second boot screen and get a boot menu...

Edit:
P.S. You should pick a better thread title. The only reason I
made it to your thread is because my mouse battery was down
and just before I clicked another link the cursor jumped up to
your link. Please read the information in the link posted in my
sig. This is not to be rude or nasty to you, just a kind gesture
to help you stay with Linux long-term through good practices.
