Unhappy FEDORA 4 video card frequency PB

Hi there,

My Fedora 4 is working fine except the fact I cannot change the frequency of the video card, the only available option is 85Hz, in any video mode.
This is an Intel 915 chipset and the driver is a i810
It is running at 85Hz and is not working on any of my old screens. I have a black screen, with the error : "Do not support this video mode"
So any of my screens, except one, but I do not want to use this one, I want to use an old one (Dell TFT)
I tried to change it xorg.conf but the frequency itself doesn't seems to be in this file.

Any help really welcome.
Thanks in advance

It is, you may just have to specify the modeline.

Try reconfiguring the frequency usning xf86config (which should be text-based) and see if you can force the hsync and vsync lower

Re :

I tried that but it didn't worked out.
Actually I bought a brand new high specs TFT screen and...same issue. Out of range.
So I deciced to try to install Windows XP Pro (Sorry guys) just to see if it was a Linux or hardware issue...Same issue.
So I tried to apply last Bios because on the Intel Bios page changelogs there was something about the issue I had. But impossible to apply it, I get error messages, even with the full Bios recovery mode. So motherboard was just fucked up. I bought a new micro ATX MB, ASROCK 775S61 and it rocks, really good product, really fast for this kind of product.
My Intel motherboard has been refunded and the model was a Intel® Desktop Board D915GVWB
Thanks

...And that is a Fedora Core 3, not 4...
