I've decided to try out fedora as a secondary OS.

My dvd drive failed on my secondary machine, and i'm stuck with Fedora's test 3 DVD.

I've been reading threads, and docs here and there on how to install it otherwise, but unfortunately none are giving me enough explanations...

I have Slackware on my main machine, and i was wondering if i can install via nfs or ftp.. If so, then how am i going to start the installation at my secondary machine?

I tried creating fedora floppy boot disk through
dd if=boot.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=1024
but as i noticed (as well as read) that the boot is too big to fit on a floppy...

I'm stuck, and i have no clue on how to start the fedora installation.. Any recommendations? (details plz)

Screw this. What's the use of using Fedora if its community is absolutely pants...
