Question FC4 hangs on first boot

I am trying to install FC4 and the setup process goes fine, I have two partitions on a 40G hd a root pertition and a 1.7G swap, I run a p4 1.6 with 512 mb ram and an Asrock mobo. After install I reboot and every time the boot process does fine until in initializes the swap partiton (which it says ok in green) then it stops never to go any further. No error messages or anything just stops and does nothing. Can anyone help with this problem?

When booting there is also some comment about an error in my /etc/fstab file on line 6, is this possibly part of the problem?

I have the same problem, no solution yet, if I find one I will post it. Tried reinstalling half a dozen times with different things.

As you said i dont think its actually the swap file. I can boot up in rescue and get a prompt. But then cus im a n00b I dont really know what to do next.

My problem is sorted, turns out it was a USB mouse causing the problem ?!?

Guess who the mouse was made by... thats right microsoft ... lol

I changed it to serial and it seems fine now.

Good luck.
