I'm trying to install Fedora Core 2 on my desktop PC. The CD burner recently went out on it, so I can not burn the CD ISO's. I have downloaded the Network Install iso from
http://fedora.lsu.edu/ and I tried to extract it onto my USB Pendrive and boot from that.
In my bios I have set the first boot device to USB-HDD, but when it starts up it doesn't see that I have the files on the USB pendrive and starts loading windows.
The pendrive I am using is a Lexar JumpDrive, and I have heard people saying that they have booted off of it.
As of right now, I'm thinking their might need to be a special way to write the data to the USB pendirve. So if anybody could help me out there, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Also, I don't have ANY linux systems as of right now, so please provide instructions on how to do this in Windows XP.
Thanks
Qwik

This is or booting it over the network are the only two options I have to install Fedora Core 2. I read somewhere that they took floppy boot disk support out in this release and both of my cd drives in this machine are shot. Any help getting Fedora Core 2 on this machine is appreciated, thanks.
