yum update dbus results in file conflict

The Red Hat Network applet notified me of a DBUS update, but it failed installing it due to a file conflict. When I run "yum update dbus" manually, I get this output:

Code:
---> Package dbus.i386 0:0.33-3.fc4.1 set to be updated
--> Running transaction check

Dependencies Resolved

 Package                 Arch       Version          Repository        Size

Install      0 Package(s)
Update       1 Package(s)
Remove       0 Package(s)

Running Transaction Test
Finished Transaction Test
Transaction Check Error: file /etc/dbus-1/session.conf from install of dbus-0. 33-3.fc4.1 conflicts with file from package dbus-0.33-3
I've tried removing the session.conf file but that didn't help. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

System specs: Shuttle ST20G5, running kernel 2.6.13-1.1532_FC4 on an AMD Athlon 64 3000+

Kind regards,

Diederik

Are you using the x86_64 version of FC4? If so, why do you have the i386 version of the dbus package and why is it (only) trying to update the i386 version of the package?

Yep, I'm indeed running FC4 64 bit. I downloaded the x86_64 bit version of the dbus update from the redhat website, but it gave me the same error. I've used rpm -Uhv --force to get it installed without any errors, but I don't think this is a very elegant solution! And why didn't yum return an i386 update?

Thanks for your reply, btw.
