yum suddenly failing!

yum goes through all it should, gets as far as the word "finished", then dies right there. No CPU, or disk activity. I try a yum clean all, it loads everything again, but then, same behaviour. I got a new kernel yesterday, but it has worked fine since that upgrade, in fact, it got something this morning, but not now.

What could this be??

Never mind, but thanks for reading. Falling back on my M$ heritage (sorry) I rebooted, and yum works fine, now. I don't know a thing about what might have gone wrong, but, it's over, that's the main thing, I guess.
