Unhappy YUM servers mosty busy!! What to do?

I live in asian region. using FC5 now a days. im using default repos setup and stuffs. but im having a seriously hard time getting to work different repos with yum. i often have to use "yum clean all" command - that doesnt solve it always either! How cam i choose which ones to use? where do i find best mirrors for me?

somethign like this for diff repos come, sometiems they all work, sometimes it just doesnt:

http://ayo.ie.freshrpms.net/fedora/l...rimary.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum
Trying other mirror.
http://ayo.si.freshrpms.net/fedora/l...rimary.xml.gz: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Connection: close
Date: Sat, 06 May 2006 04:43:25 GMT
Server: Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) Debian GNU/Linux PHP/4.1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.9 OpenSSL/0.9.6c
Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1
Trying other mirror.
primary.xml.gz 100% |=========================| 55 kB 00:06
http://ayo.pt.freshrpms.net/fedora/l...rimary.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum
Trying other mirror.
primary.xml.gz 100% |=========================| 55 kB 00:05
http://ayo.us5.freshrpms.net/fedora/...rimary.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum
Trying other mirror.
Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from freshrpms: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

n.b. this is an example for freshrpms, happens for other repos too. somethimes all work, sometimes some dont. please provide simple and detailed step by step info.

This could help.

http://easylinux.info/wiki/Fedora_fc5

You might want to do some more research regarding repos that are located closer to you in Asia.

I'm also in asia

yum install yumex will sort all of it out. it resolves the default, best or fastest mirror sites for your location.
