My locale setup is
/home/chunhua@localhost$ locale

LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB.UTF-8"

it seems a problem related to fonts. Does anybody know how to solve this? If this is caused by LOCALE, how to config LOCALE in FC5?
I've never tried xfig, but (while I'm waiting for a download to finish) I saw your query, and thought I'd try it. And I got a subset of those warning messages:
Code:
$ xfig
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Warning: Missing charsets in String to FontSet conversion
Then I remember that I was on our FC4 system.
So, my contribution is that this may have nothing to do with FC5.
I had the same problem with ubuntu. For me it helped to change the default font encoding from de_DE UTF8 to de_DE ISO8859-15. I think xfig tries to find a ISO8859 fonts (last warning in your warning list).
I don't think it's FC or xfig specific. I've got the same messages using neither. It seems to be quite a few Xclients. The trouble started when I changed locale from en_US to en_US.utf8, so likely it has to do with locale support for UTF8... looked around a bit and can't find a definate solution to this one, but alot of people seem to have this problem.
