rickh Senior Member Registered: May 2004 Location: Albuquerque, NM USA Distribution: Debian-Lenny/Sid 32/64 Desktop: Generic AMD64-EVGA 680i Laptop: Generic Intel SIS-AC97 Posts: 4,250 Rep:	Wrong sound card installed Fedora Core 2 picked up the sound card built into my motherborad during install. I was so happy to hear sound, I didn't even notice. Now I want to go back and change to the Soundblaster Live card that is also installed on my system, but I can't figure out what to do. 'Soundcard Detection' only shows the active card. How do I activate the other one instead. Once that's done, I'll probably be back looking for help with ALSA drivers.
