Unable to update system with YUM (Dependency?)

Background:
Yesterday I recently installed Fedora Core 5 onto my machine(with all of the -packages). Then I installed the yum configuration (livina) from fedorafaq.org. Then I installed the latest kernel 2.6.17. I did all this through Yum. Now when I try to update my system I have this problem

Problem:
When I open a terminal, login as root, and I type the command "yum update." It starts listing the updates to be installed and then it gives me a dependency message:

--> Processing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc for package: geronimo-specs-compat
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
--> Populating transaction set with selected packages. Please wait.
---> Package kernel.i686 0:2.6.17-1.2174_FC5 set to be erased
--> Running transaction check
--> Processing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc for package: geronimo-specs-compat
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc is needed by package geronimo-specs-compat

I tried to "yum install geronimo-specs" but then it tells me:
Resolving Dependencies
--> Populating transaction set with selected packages. Please wait.
---> Package geronimo-specs.noarch 0:1.0-0.M2.3jpp set to be updated
--> Running transaction check
--> Processing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc for package: geronimo-specs-compat
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Missing Dependency: geronimo-specs = 1.0-0.M2.2jpp_7fc is needed by package geronimo-specs-compat

I then tried to "yum install geronimo-specs-compat" but I had the same problem.

Now I just don't know what to do.
Any help would be gladly accepted.

Disable the livna repository and any other added repositories. You can do this by editing the repo files in /etc/yum.repos.d/ and changing 'enabled=1' to 'enabled=0'. Alternatively, you can disable them on the command line:

yum -y --disablerepo=livna update

You generally don't want to enable third-party repositories when performing a system-wide update. When you want to install or update something from a third-party repository, you can enable it. For example:

yum -y --enablerepo=livna install somesoftware
