I remember when this machine works with the old FC1 the video was poor but can see enought to change from 800*600 to highest res and then the problem was finished.
With CF4, how to change the resolution video if I can't see anything. Is there a secure video mode? The grub window only let start in normal mode.

In GRUB, choose fedora core, press "e" key, then go to kernel string (second one), and press "e" again, at the end of the string "... rhgb quiet" type "3", so string should look like ".. rhgb quiet 3". then enter, enter and enter. You'll boot to runlevel 3, to the text mode. you can now edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file for your needs, and change resolution manually.
