traceroute - I option doesn't work

I have fedora 5 and apparently according to man traceroute there is no -I option for ICMP with traceroute. Every other version of traceroute I have used had this option.

Is their another version I could get. Or should I just get a previous version of traceroute from Fedora 4. And if so where would I get this.

Thanks

have you looked at tools like mtr and lft? i find these are massively more useful than bog standard traceroute.
