Screen offset to the right w/ FC4 installed last nite

Hi...I am def a newb here so please bear with....I just installed FC4 on my dell dimension 4600 last nite....no major problems...clean install and what have you....however when i got the system set up I noticed a small problem with the display....the whole screen was actually offset by approx a centimeter to the right...so as u can probably assume...I am having a bit of trouble closing maximized windows.....not a major problem since there are alternate ways of doing that....however it is extrememley annoying to have this black strip of nothingness on the left side of my desktop.....I am thinking this might have something to do w/ the video card....my video card is Nvidia Geforce FX 5200....its the only aftermarket piece of hardware on the system.....I checked out the drivers site for nvidia...but was a little confused as to whether or not the available drivers were correct for my V-card......any suggestions would be great.......thanx in advance.

If the display is offset to the right or left, them use the controls on your monitor to correct this problem. Also if the nvidia drivers are installed correctly then you should see a splash screen with the nvidia logo if the x server is configured to use them.

I use the GeforceFX 5200 on my Dell Inspiron8600 laptop and I'm using Fedora4 supplied drivers and it works great.
