Where can I get another edition? I don't really have enough discs for Fedora.

I think so. But I think what you're paying for is security updates. You can probably find someone who has it and copy it for free. But then you probably can't connect to their update service.

You can always use Fedora for free or CentOS (Red Hat clone with name and logo stripped).

You can do a Fedora web install. http://docs.fedoraproject.org/fedora...rkinstallation

Can you install various desktop environments? (on CentOS)

yep, anything you can od in Red Hat you can do in CentOS

I've never used RedHat so I wouldn't know.

you can get a Fedora DVD I think, in any linux distro you can change desktops
