Problems compiling a program

I'm trying to compile the worker file manager ( http://www.boomerangsworld.de/worker ) in order to use it.

But when i run ./configure, i obtain the following error:

Code:
checking dependency style of g++... gcc3
checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
checking for ranlib... ranlib
checking for gawk... (cached) gawk
checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... g++ -E
checking for X... no
configure: error: X Window libraries and headers not found!
*********************************************************************
* Check your X installation (many distributions have these files in *
* the ...devel-packages (e.g. xdevel)).                             *
*********************************************************************
What package do i need to install?

yum search xdevel reports nothing.

Thank you in advance.

You need the X Window headers installed in /usr/include. They are usually *.h files. Run `apt-get install xserver-xorg-dev`

Probably something like x11-server-devel.

Thank you.

I tried with
Code:
yum install xorg-x11-server-devel
But i still get the same error.

Apt-get doesn't work on fedora, as far as i know. At least not in the default installation.

Do you have your kernel headers (kernel-source or -devel) files installed as well? It has to match your current running kernel. If you don't know what that is type: uname -r and that will tell you.
