Problem with Savage module

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my T23 with Fedora 7.
It uses the savage module and has dri enabled so thats cool but when I try and start a game that goes full screen (and I am assuming changes the resolution) xorg just restarts all of a sudden and I am back at the gdm and can login again

I have tried using the vesa driver but that just spits out jibberisch. I have tried my hard drive in two other t23's and they all seem to have the same problem.

Does any one have any Ideas what I can do? How do I disable DRI?
Maybe thats the issue?

Other than that it works like a charm...
By the way this is what lspci spits out:

Code:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. SuperSavage IX/C SDR (rev 05)
All suggestions welcome

Thanks

Can anyone tell me how to get x to be a little bit more verbose?
Also, is /var/log/Xorg.log the only place to find errors etc? I cannot see very much in there as X crashes and thus no longer writes into the log file.
Is there a better way to see the output when it crashes?

Maybe that way I can see whats happening...

Please help. This is very frustrating.

P.S.

Where can I find a live cd of Fedora core 6 or 5? I would like to try and see if they have the same issue or if this is new to fedora 7.

Thanks
