newbie questions

Ok, I just installed Fedora, and I am pretty new to Linux in general, especially Fedora. I have a few basic questions...

1. I installed OpenSSH, but cannot figure out how to get sshd to run on startup automatically.

2. I need to change permissions of something that I installed as root, can't figure out how to do that

3. I have a Microsoft Optical USB mouse with side buttons, and I am wondering if theres a way to remap these buttons from their current settings.file:///usr/share/doc/HTML/index.html

Thanks in advance!

1. Turn it on using the chkconfig utility:
chkconfig sshd on
(make sure that you can turn it on beforehand with: service sshd start)

2. If you just simply need to change who owns the files:
chown newuser filename

if you need more granular permisions, use chmod. If you want more info on chmod, you'll have to be more specific about what permissions you are trying to set up.

3. The mappings for the mouse buttons are usually in the /etc/X11/XF86Config file. Try doing a search here for your mouse model to get the exact settings that you need to put in the XF86Config file or just follow the link:
