new windows whenever click on folder

whenever sasy i want goto a music folder then the artist, whenever i click on a folder it opens in a new window..can that be stopped so it opens in the same window such as windows explorer style?

In Nautilus (the file browser for gnome) go to >edit >preferences >behavior tick "always open in browser windows"
Think that should do it.

It's not too hard to try it and find out surely????

That's the way mine's set, and I don't get new windows.
