multiple hostnames

I have 3 network cards installed with consecutive ip addresses in the same subnet on a Windows network. I would like for the Windows computers to see each connection with a different name as if they were 3 different machines, PENGUIN1, PENGUIN2, PENGUIN3. Right now the hostname is PENGUIN1 and pinging that name from a Windows client only returns the first ip address. I can ping the other two connections by address only. How can I get Windows to reach each ip address with a different name ?

You will need to run samba to give your machine a netbios name on the network or add an entry for each machine into your windows machine's hosts file.
