missing build HELP

I am trying to install my wireless usb network adapter using ndiswrapper but, when I get to the installation of ndiswrapper, it needs a file that I do not have

the file is supposed to be at

/lib/something starting with a c/2.6.11-1.1369_FC4/build/

During the installation it could not find the file even though when I nade a link to it, It said the file existed. So, I searched for the file using konqueror, I found it but the file size was 0 and when I tried to open it. an error message displayed saying something along the lines of

"sorry this file doesn't seem to exist anymore"

so it seems, I need this file.

it's not a file, it's a symlink to a directory. install kernel-devel via yum and it'll work fine.

how do I go about doing this? Doesn't yum require internet access? I am not familiar with yum.
