'hlt' instruction problem
This is a "tough spot" for Linux (any distro) on earlier AMD CPUs. I had the exact same problem on a 500 MHz K6-2. Pass the 'no-hlt' (without quotation marks) parameter to your kernel at boot time (either at boot prompt or in lilo.conf if you have a way to edit it) and it should skip the 'hlt' instruction check and boot OK.
P.S. That is valid for 2.4 kernels (had to use it on all I used on that machine) but FC3 uses a 2.6 series kernel, it may or may not work... try that anyway.
