Question Koji and my own distro

Fedora uses Koji to build all its RPM packages. Is it right to say that Koji is the main part of the Fedora build infrastructure? Is it possible to make my own RPM-based Linux distribution from scratch by using only Koji installed on some Linux machine?

Based on what you have done in the past, I think you might succeed!
To cast a wider net ("Anyone done this"?), you might also post on /r, stacks, ...
(No disrespect to LQ being 'the best')
