Perhaps it's in the wallet. Use kwalletmanager to look.
What network manager do you use? I use wicd, and the wireless connection information is kept in /etc/wicd/wireless-settings.conf. As far as I can recollect, the default NetworkManager assumes that you're using GNOME, and stores your passwords in the GNOME wallet, which, typically, is not available from a KDE session. Perhaps running gconf might give your a clue, but that app is, usually, just basic configuration stuff.
You might just need to start the gnome-keyring daemon. (Do a ps -e | grep gnome to see if it's running.) If it isn't, try starting it with a sudo gnome-keyring-daemon -d command.
