Hello iv just installed fedora3 on my laptop yum was installed with the cd,when i run the command "yum update" i get the error "you have enabled checking of packages via GPG keys.This is a good thing.You need to download the keys for packages you wish to install and install them.You can do that by running the command:rpm --import public.gpg.key
The problem is when i issue the command as root i get this error message "errorublic.gpg.key: import read failed.
Can some one tell me how to either disable checking of packages via GPG keys or overcome this error message thanks.

ok i think iv solved it it would seem,i think! yum did not know where to look i ran as root the command "rpm --import http://www.fedora.us/FEDORA-GPG-KEY " Then it just started updating my system brilliantly.
