I want to dual boot Windows 7 and Fedora 15

I know how to dual boot Linux and windows by installing windows first, shrinking the hdd, and then booting a live cd and installing linux in the free space then intalling grub but I want to do something different this time. Is there any way to install windows 7 to one hard drive and linux to another hard drive and have it set up so that I can choose between either os at boot time but with picture instead. Something like the way that people use EFIX to boot linux, mac, and windows all on one computer but with an os on each hdd? is there a dongle like EFIX that I can use without the ability to boot mac?

you might want to read the fedora docs
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/index.html

do a bit of research
win7 sp1 REQUIRES !!! the windows bootloader installed and BOOTING and set as default
win7 also saves some info ON the MBR , software install bits and such .
and can / will overwrite grub if grub is there

I learned a long time ago to "just let MS have the MBR" . Life is SO much easier, if you do .

The fedora installer can put grub on the second drive .Leaving MS windows 7 -- 100% intact .

just mark THAT drive as bootable .
