2 things:
- some changes are only effective after a reboot. this is re post #1, where you said you did some things, then went to sleep, and 6h later you booted up and got garbled graphics. so obviously we'd need to know as much as possible about those "things" you "did".
- fedora is a bleeding edge distro. are you sure you really, really need it, or are you just masochistic?
