I just installed fedora core 2 final, I read some where that is would support ntfs


hi again, I just installed FC2, how do I enable ntfs support? and is it safe to read/write to nffs drives

I don't think I would try writing on NTFS unless you can afford to loose all the info on it. Read is OK.

If you want both read and write for both Windows and Linux, create a fat32 filesystem.

Would you open yourself to the whims of Microsoft's well known business activities?.

NTFS is their intellectual property and is not open sourced, nor is very likely to be, IMHO.
