How to create disk image for Fedora 14?

I have fedora on a parition. the root / folder, and a swap.
I wanna try other linux,
but i dont want to delete my Fedora.
So I want to back up my Fedora whole disk data,
can I create a disk image for Fedora so that later I can Restore it?

You could use 'partimage' to create an image. Besides doing that you could also create a backup of your MBR using 'dd'. These could then be used to restore using the same tools.

you can do everything with DD. but i (IMHO) would personally do it this way: back up all the data that i need, kill all on my hdd and repartition it with LVM. so in case i want to add another partition later i would not need to worry about anything> resize partition > add new logical, create FS and off i go
