how to check (not at installation) cd


hi,
I want to check the integrity of the CD's ( not at the installation wich is done automatically).
there is no file md5sum ?
is there another procedure ?

You can check the md5sum of the iso(s) before burning them. If you use X-CD-Roast you can verify tracks after burning them.I haven't played with it yet (just installed it), but I think that k3b can also be told to verify track as well.
