Getting the fedora srcs and version headers

I need help. I am trying to compile a modem driver. But I need the kernel sources and version headers. I read some where that the headers are compiled into the kernel. Right now i am using fedora core 5 with the 2.6.15-1.2054_FC5. Also if any one knows how to prevent it from storing and restoring sessions in kde i need that info. I am using a i686 kernel on an AMD Duron 950mhz with 128mb of ram. I would just try to use yum to get the kernel stuff but at the current moment the computer that I need the information for has no internet connection.

you should be able to run "yum install kernel-headers" or "yum install kernel-devel" for the source headers. you shouldn't need actual source to compile drivers, but sometimes you do, not sure why...
