There's something wrong with package gambas-examples in the repositories which causes a full gambas install to fail on FC4. The following command, recommended by gambas peeps themselves, doesn't work for me:
As far as I can tell the examples shouldn't be version specific, at least not minor version specific (can't rule out a major interpreter change might break something), so hoping someone just forgot to update a dependency list somewhere, or something like that.

Anyway, for anyone interested in Visual Basic on steroids and on the Linux platform (and not just a clone, as authors keep reminding us), the command that'll get everything up and running (for now) is:

I didn't try yum.
I downloaded each package invidually.
Have you tried to intall the gambas-examples itself

Whew, you're a braver man than I. When I installed gambas* I got something like 27 packages added to my FC4 installation! I'd hate to have to download and install all those manually.

By the time I installed, I am using a dialup connection.
Yum is so deluxe for me, because the longer time I spent online, the more I have to pay.
Download each using a download accelerator is more effective.
