fedora core 4 no sound in firefox

First of all everyone welcome me back. It's been 8 months since i've used linux(due to work and school) but i'm back and boy am i happy!

Moving right along... My problem is that in fedora core 4 my sound works perfectly, i can watch videos, listen to mp3s and cds but i can't hear any sound in firefox. Embedded video with mplayer or flash i don't hear anything. This seems extremely strange to me, so if anyone has any ideas lets hear 'em.

Hi,

And I can't use it to vote in some of the web sites I visit. I use konqueror to watch my voting process (the usual polls you meet in some websites I mean ) So what should I do. I am thinking of using konqueror as my default net browser, what do u think?
