Smile Fedora 3 vs Suse 9.0

Hi
I am presently running Suse 9.0 on a HP pavilion Celeron 733 with 191 megs of physical ram.
Suse generally runs pretty well with this configuration. The only thing that appears to be on the slow side is the internet. I am on Roadrunner Cable. I am running latest version of Firefox. I just downloaded and burned the 4 Fedora 3 CD. They burned perfectly and are ready to be installed. I would like to know , with my present hardware configuration and memory if you think Fedora will have worse performance than Suse at this point. I was hoping by switching to Fedora with a newer kernal and more updated version that perhaps my whole Internet performance would be better. I did notice that in the documentation it mentioned that Fedora needed at least 192 megs of ram and would be better with 256 megs. What do you think? Would I be shooting myself in the foot to install Fedora with my present hardware configuration? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Frank.

Ram is cheap find out how much you can stuff onto your mobo go to www.4allmemory.com and see what type of memory you need and them google that typeof ram for the best price.
Fedora Core 3 is great it's VERY BLEEDING EDGE so if you don't mind updating quite a bit and you really know your stuff in a linux pt of view, i would say do it!!

my systems

Notebook
pentium mobile 1.5 ghz
intel centrino wireless
256mb ram < -- - works fine, but i want more
********************************************************
Desktop
intel pentium 4 1.8 ghz
512 mb ram
intel d845 glva mobo
fedora runs almost flawlessly on the PC
