Question fedora 10 shutdowns automatically

Hello All

I'm using fedora10 (2.6.27.24-170.2.68.fc10.i686) on an AMD Athlon 64 with 512 MB ram and it worked very well but now all of a sudden it started to shutdown automatically like a magic. I got paniced and started a rkhunter scan but later realized that it might be hardware related issue but confused .It happened thrice in the last two days and its anonying . I dont where to start from . Any help would be appreciated .
Thanks in Advance

If you mean shutdown, do you mean to say that the machine does a proper shutdown and switches to runlevel 0 ?
or do you mean to say that the system crashes and reboots ?
If the issue is latter case, you can insert a rescue disk and try starting memtest86 and check the memory. Random crashes are sometimes involved with hardware memory issues.

It just shutdowns ,while working it happens all of a sudden and there is no rebooting ..it just turns off. Again I need to turn the machine on .
