Fedora 10 Shtting down during boot on HP DC7900 Desktop

We have installed Fedora 10 on some HP DC7900 desktop PC's. The installation went OK without any problem.
However, approx 1 in 3 boots results in the system turning itself off. We see the 3-coloured progress bar along the bottom, this completes to the right hand side of the screen and the system turns off with no error message. We turn it back on and it boots OK (probably).

We have installed this on 5 machines and all respond the same.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions what we can do to diagnose the problem.

Thanks.

first, welcome to lq
2 things to try
1. edit /etc/grub/menu.conf and remove all references to rhgb, if any
2. post the output of dmesg
if you don't know how to do that simply
dmesg > file
open file, post the contents between code tags

OK - removed rhgb from grub.lst

I can now see the boot messages - it all stops after "starting anacron"

I have modified the 2 posts above with the latest from dmesg.

Many thanks for any help.....

No Nvidia - the graphics is "Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 integrated graphics"

Can I get updated drivers for this on-board graphics card?

Is this the problem?

Thanks
