Exclamation FC9 installing Nvidia driver "Unable to find Kernel Source Tree"

I freshly Installed FC9 wireless worked like a dream, tried installing Driver for "geforce 2 pro" I have downloaded the correct linux driver but when I go to install it, it first looks for a precompiled build on the Nvidia ftp site and comes up with nothing then says ok do you want it to compile it I say yes it says, Error = unable to find kernel source tree, make sure you have 'kernel-source' rpm installed ... If you know were the correct source files are use "--kernel-source-path" , I have tried to point it to "/usr/src/redhat/" and other places and it looks for the files but then it says the same Error (it tells the path were it was looking)

Have you tried

Code:
yum install kernel-devel
yet? After you do that then install the driver.

Exclamation It helped a little

I installed "kernel-devel" and retried installing the Nvidia drivers but now it starts to build but then after it finishes it says Error "unable to build."

I don't believe that you can build and enable 3D support(easily) for Fedora 9 at this time due to changes in Xorg. I plan on waiting until they get it all sorted out.

Here's a link with info on getting your nVidia card working F9nVidia I'm still going to wait as I've been down this road before and it's "rough and rocky" and not as much fun as it used to be. Must be getting old!
