FC4 cons


this must be a serious problem....

"ATI radeon (RV350) problem!!!"

why this happen? are linux users must be a smart person to configure their OS (linux) to work?

if this always happen...hemm linux will always one step behind win$$$.......

no offense....

You idiot. It's not up to Linus Torvalds and the rest of the kernel hackers to build ATI drivers. Go bitch at ATI and ask them why their Linux support is crap.

A bit harsh there, but I agree with your point. If you are having problems with your ATI graphics card on Linux, then complain to ATI, so that they can improve their Linux drivers. Nvidia as got their act together and has been providing decent nvidia drivers for linux, freebsd and solaris for a while now.

I agree I'm a bit harsh but the attitude of some people just makes me wonder whether or not they understand why they use Linux. Linux isn't here to replace Windows. We don't care if people use it or not, it's there for those that want to use it. We're not trying to be in the "mainstream".
