Just installed Fedora Core 3, and I'm having problems getting my fat32 and ntfs partitions to automout as a user. They mount fine as root. ( I installed the ntfs module)
my fstab:
Code:
# This file is edited by fstab-sync - see 'man fstab-sync' for details
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
/dev/hdb2 /fat32 vfat auto,rw,umask=000 1 0
/dev/hda1 /ntfs ntfs ro,umask=0222 0 0
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol01 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hdd /media/cdrecorder auto pamconsole,ro,exec,noauto,managed 0 0
/dev/hdc /media/cdrecorder1 auto pamconsole,ro,exec,noauto,managed 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,managed 0 0
The /fat32 and /ntfs entrys are the same as I used in FC2, (these are the ones I'm trying to mount) I just copied and pasted them from my old fstab file, they worked fine before. I noticed the part about the fstab-sync and the /dev/VolGroup00/LogVolxx is new.
