Has got anyone a idea where i can get the drivers? I've also looked at the HP of elsa an various boards, but i've found nothing! Only the for the USB-Version...
By the way, is it possible to use this driver (USB-Version) for the internal Modem?
Thanks in advance for your help and please excuse my (very) bad english...

ELSA MODEM? No worries if it is NO USB, no "internal" and connected to the COM 1 port. This is less effort than M$-Windows:
Well, you may not need any driver at all for a real Modem under Fedora 10 or any other. It is just ready for fax use or whatever.
Try this:
echo 'ATZ' > /dev/ttyS0
and watch the modem lights. It should blink in the moment you hit the key.
If not try to get root (error message about rights) or try ttyS1 or 2 or so.
It's working, right?
Now try the other modem sequences you want to test. This is a sure way to test the telephone line, too. Advantage: It works with NGN - landlines like o2-DSL or other. This is an advantage over real fax machines often failing to accept the fax sequences on NGN nteworks.
Subsequentially create a link: ln -s /dev/ttyS0 /dev/modem
to enable simple access for later usage.
It is extremely simple to send a fax via command line, much less effort than any GUI.... if someone reveals the sequence of commands. Life can be so easy using a standard modem...
