What do i need to do to install both XP and fedora on my notebook. it is new machine and I have no data on it.
What are the challanges?
I am new to linux,I use notebook for my work and not very familiar with finer points. I just want to use linux based system as i feel strongly about it.
please help!

Yes it so, but in configure installation of fedora boot-loader, you must point for XP boot. Usuallly it is sda1. In installation process, you may see as a boot option in screen a point, that named "other". In most cases it is windows boot record and partition. You may check that is linked with sda1.
