dovecot pop3 email problem

Hi, I'm receiving the following line in my maillog and users can't pull down mail. Sending is ok.

dovecot: child 14350 (pop3) killed with signal 6

I restarted dovecot and sendmail with no success.

Any suggestions?

dovecot: POP3(kathyo): Fixed index file /home/kathyo/mail/.imap/INBOX/dovecot.index: log file sync pos 117,80808 -> 118, 24

FYI - problem solved. One of our consultants installed pcap and it was dumping log files into a users home directory since June until the volume filled up. We killed the process and deleted the log files and all turned back to normal.
