I've made a minimal installation of FC3 on my AMD 64. Then I've run Up2date, updating every package. I later realized that there's a lot of stuff on the Fedora CDs that I need, so I've run the package installer. After selecting the packages I want, it shows a box, saying that glibc is not found and needed by glibc-common, that glibc-common is not found and needed by glibc, that vim is not found. And I've got this :
Code:
[root@localhost /]# rpm -qa | grep glibc
glibc-2.3.4-2.fc3
glibc-2.3.4-2.fc3
glibc-common-2.3.4-2.fc3
[root@localhost /]# rpm -qa | grep vim
vim-enhanced-6.3.054-0.fc3.1
vim-minimal-6.3.054-0.fc3.1
vim-common-6.3.054-0.fc3.1
The packages seem to be installed on the machine, but in a more recent version than the one on the CDs.
Is there anything I can do, apart from manually selecting and installing the packages ?
