Custom Fedora Core 3 Install cd
How would I make one? I want to make a custom 3d-artists distro based on fedora core 3, and I think it will fit on one cd, I want to make 2 versions, one with gnome, the other with kde. I was thinking the package list would include:
openoffice
gimp + gap
blender
wings
yafray
firefox + flash + java
thunderbird
xmms + mp3 support
mplayer and mencoder + mencoder gnome frontend (gmencoder?) and plugins
fluxbox
gftp
gift + giftui + plugins
gaim
bluefish
python + spe
xchat
beagle
audacity
soundtracker
some midi composition software (brahms?, tutka?)
wine
c and c++ support (gcc, g++)
vector graphics program (sodipodi or inksacpe)
video editor (which?)
iptables + simple frontend
apt or yum (with yumi) or synaptic
I think this would make a nice simple, easy to install (I end up reinstalling my os every 2 months or so), and slim (ish) distro. It has all te programs I use regularily, and all the ones I use for my work.
