Smile Curious question about Fedora

I am fairly new to Linux and just had a silly question: when talking about Red Hat and Fedora, do they have their own desktop environment? Because It seems to lack the apps included in KDE. I am fine if it does have it's own, but will it run the following?
- KOffice
- KStars
- SCREEM
- The GIMP
Thanks.

RedHat and Fedora Core don't have their own desktop. You can run KDE, Gnome or any other desktop environment you can find out ther on this distribution. And of course you can use all the apps you mentioned as well.
