Core 2 Final - Can't install packages from KDE

I installed C2 final but didn't choose any devel/src packages on install. Box runs fine, but I now need them to build the kernel (for NVIDIA's drivers).
In KDE I try System Settings | Add/remove applications and choose the Kernel (Details) link, then focused on "kernel source" then clicked "install packages". It prompted for CD 2, I put it in and it then immediately said "Error installing packages". Did I do something wrong? Whats the non KDE way please, all Iwant is the sources.
